The Lesser mouse-deer or Chevrotain is the smallest hoofed mammal in the world. They are shy and secretive forest dwelling relative of the deer and are rarely seen. Unlike deer, the males have no antlers, but do sport a pair of canine teeth that can be seen projecting downward from the upper jaw like two tiny tusks.

oh my god I saw these at singapore night zoo a couple years ago they are so cute MOUSEDEERMOUSEDEERMOUSEDEEEEER

These little dopes are only like two feet from nose to tail, but their tongues are almost 6 inches long.

Maratus volans, better known as the Peacock Spider. The brilliant colouring is not just for decoration but also to attract females. The peacock spider has earned its name when he courts with his mate through dancing. Like a peacock, he raises his two magnificently coloured flaps and dances for the female.

Oh my god, this dude.

“A mother tiger lost her cubs due to premature labour. Shortly after, she became depressed and her health declined. She was later diagnosed with depression. Since tigers are endangered, every effort was made to secure her health. Zoologists wrapped piglets up in tiger-print cloth, and presented them to the mother tiger. She now loves these piglets and treats them like her own. And needless to mention, her health is back on track. ♥ Yes, they ALL have feelings”
